Robinson - Yay, day 2. You're right - no need to drink! In fact, we GET to be sober. And wake up tomorrow hangover-free.
Lalalala - Glad to see you here. I try to view alcohol as poison. We don't want to drink poison. Your life CAN be amazing and you're taking the first step posting here. Post away, stick close to SR!

My Friday night plans are: going to see a movie with my 6 year old! I've been to a few movies when I was hungover and that is terrible. What a waste! Big screen, headache, swirly stomach.....no thank you!!

Hi All. Just dropping in to say I made it through day 4 and am started on day 5.
I woke up this morning feeling as if the fog had finally cleared out of my brain. I actually feel good today. Went and played with the dogs, Went to my Dr and got a prescription for antabuse and took my first pill.
Dr and I came up with a plan for me to take it twice a week to start with. My tripping up always seems to come over a weekend so I am going to take it Fridays and Tuesdays. I am really planning on using this as a short term helper so I can get a couple of months under my belt.
So thank you all for the help and support here. It is good to feel good.

Hi all, this is my first post, but not first AF go around. On day 3 and would love to get through holidays without wine and to start 2017 with a month under my belt.

Hello all. I would like to join. Had 9 weeks with the September group. Here I go again..Day 2 finishing up. Very upset with myself but thankfully I ended that bender. I'm still figuring out why I even started this last time..still thinking.. but def gonna get back into counseling and possibly a Outpatient program.. cuz this will be the year when Sobriety sticks.
