24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 179
On day two... for some strange reason I actually got some decent sleep last night which I am very thankful and grateful for. with Holiday season right around the corner it's really going to be tough to fight the urge to drink, but mostly just trying to focus on today...
Welcome back, cornpone; stay close, sweet one.

Glad you're back.
Yesterday was a little rough, but I'm still enjoying the beach. No booze, no drugs, no bad influences. I needed this chance to get away from work and home. All my worldly problems will be waiting for me when I get back. Hopefully I'll face them rested and relaxed, so maybe I'll have a more positive outlook on the troubles of life. 24 more!!!

Oh boy!!!!!!!!! Perfect!!!!!!
Checking in tonight. Going for another 24 hours at 5:59p CST.
Today is National Guacamole Day!
Here are five fun facts about guacamole:
1. Avocados are native to Central and South America.
2. They have been cultivated for over 10,000 years.
3. Another name for the avocado is the “alligator pear.”
4. The Aztec word for avocado was ahuacatl, which means “testicle tree”.
5. Spanish explorers could not pronounce ahuacatl, so they called the avocado, “aguacate.” This is the origin of the word guacamole.
PhoenixJ-I think the cake just needs a thong to adorn it.
