Well, the absentee parents has rescheduled the conference.
During the school day-
Not sure how to finagle that, but finagle I will.
An aside about mental health/this election-
A few weeks ago I went to my shrink and I couldn't help it-
'Am I the only one feeling more than a little traumatized by all this?'
'No you are not- most definitely not'
Had to hear it from a professional.
And one of my daughters evidently had to hear it from me-
'What in the world, Mom. Are elections always like this?'
'No, they are not. They are never like this'
It's a beautiful day in the driftless zone.

Signing up for another 24 to get me through day 2. Waking up not hungover is awesome, but really struggling getting motivated to get up and going without a drink or 2. Grabbed for my bottle and it had water in it. Well, water it is then.

Good morning peeps. I'm working on my fear of loneliness, it took me awhile to recognize it. My happiness depends on me nobody else.
My spiritual growth is with God as I understand Him. With Him I find my true inner self. Daily meditation and prayer strengthen and renew my source of well-being. I receive then the openness to accept all that He has to offer. With God I have the reassurance that my journey will be as He wants for me, and for that I am grateful to have God in my life.
24 more for this grateful alcoholic that's is living life at life terms one day at the time.
