43 days! Luckily, not too many "white-knuckle" type craving episodes so far. However, I have been soooo completely exhausted and all I want to do is eat warm comfort foods. I'm going to give myself a little longer, but I must start eating healthy again. I really am a very healthy eater and a runner, but all this eating seems to be my vice for the moment.

Welcome Beelover.
Cool to have someone new on board.
Oct - I thought my sleep had sorted itself out, but the last week or so has been off. I'm assuming it will go back to normal again, I'm tired a lot, but am also doing a lot of exercise each day, so it's not surprising

I haven't posted in about a week. I was depressed about our US election-thought about it (very briefly) and didn't drink. I had major cravings on Friday, reached out on the Newcomer's forum, someone responded, and I didn't drink. So now I have 35 days. One thing I want you guys to know: on Friday, when I thought I was going to drink, I thought "Oh man, I can't be in the Oct/2016 group any more' and it MADE ME SICK. I'm sure it went into the mix as to why I didn't drink, SO.....wherever you are, if you're in this group, you did something good on Friday just by being a member! Thanks for being there guys...

I need to quit as of today. I fell off the rails lately and need support. The first day as we all know is the hardest. Withdrawals are fairly back already at 7am, going to be a long day...
Couldn't find the Nov 16 thread btw with my painted on eyes 😔

Haven't posted in a few days but I wanted to make sure I posted today because I'm at me three week mark, haven't been able to make it past 3 weeks since I had my daughter (5 months) I'm getting some help for the PPD, connecting with other new mothers, learning some new coping skills, it is awesome. I'm so excited for what lies ahead of me and enjoying living in the moment.
I'm glad to see our group still going strong. We got this, we are the rocktobers and we are rocking sobriety!

So happy you're still with us - know what you mean about wanting to stay with the gang - and you're our chief cheerleader, so you definitely have to stick around.
Elfie - your post made me smile, you've come so far from 3 weeks ago, it's great to see.
Sober, you're welcome here - keep posting here or on the main page - we'll respond. Hang in there - it does get better.
The November thread is here
but you are are also welcome here.
P.S. V-man and Fortress, how did we get to 40ish days so quickly?

Thanks, Elke516! Today was day 40 for me, and boy did I get tested! I had to help out with grand opening prep at another grocery store today and it was very stressful with all the confusion and getting things ready. It's times like this where I miss having a beer after work, but I've stayed strong tonight! I got home at almost 9pm and have to be back at 6am. The old me would've cracked open a cold one (or two), but the new me is going to take a shower and go to bed!

Winslow - I was so happy to see your name as I came to the thread - welcome back!!
Good to see our cheerleader Fortress is back in good form as well.
You guys have made me very happy this evening. Work is busy, busy, busy, so it's nice to come home and see people back here.

Hi all, I'm still here as well. Work is hectic so my mind is elsewhere, but I still enjoy reading even though I haven't been posting much.
Welcome Beelover and welcome back Winslow! teaorcoffee, great to see a lot of chirpiness (meant in a good way) in your posts.
