Hi,
My Mom, our friend and myself drive down to the Port of Long Beach tomorrow morning for our cruise. It's a little one that goes to Catalina Island ( off the coast here in. SO CAL) and to Ensenada, Baja. We had so much fun last year, I'm sure we will again!
. It's time for me to check in for the next 24. So much to be grateful for in my life, the most important being the continued journey of my recovery. Without which, I have nothing....thanks & gratitude to the Universe.

24, tick, tock. Lots has happened today. Mind me, a lot always seems to happen- with clarity, perception, recovery and honesty to myself. It is actually starting to get interesting knowing me. Perhaps this guy isn't all bad after all.

I love this i feel exactly the same.
At the moment, and even though i had a slip up at the begining of Oct i think 2016 has been one of the best years in a long time.
And i turned 40 this year

Sober is GOOD

Hi all I'm back after a slip. I thought I could handle a few beers on a date. Wrong. It led to me drinking beers every night with hangovers the next day. Started smoking as well.
I have printed out a nice photo of myself when I was 8 months AF and smoke free and stuck it in my diary as a reminder of where I want to get back too. I look really healthy and happy.
My new day one date is 24th Oct.
Lesson learned and good to be back
