In fact, I was telling Bobbieka yesterday that I actually had a dream about you guys a couple of days ago. It was weird to have an entire dream where I was reading text on a computer screen. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. Remember you don't have to take that first drink no matter what. It's never the answer for us!
(((Casey))) Great to see you!!! Miss you!

By the way BBG, I just had a sober birthday and 2 weeks ago and it was great. It really was. If I would've drank on my birthday I would've been suicidal the day after my birthday. Alcohol sucks! Just enjoy your birthday. We are blessed to have you with us.

Good to see you Kiki. Hope you can get some rest soon. You're doing well Keets. Good to see you as well. For all I've missed, I'm sorry. Be well and don't drink.

Hi everyone. Just checking in! I'm really grateful to NOT be hung over this morning. I had a close call yesterday. I had a craving come out of nowhere and I realized that I didn't have any obligations last night so my AV told me it would be OK to drink! Grrrr....

I wrestled with my AV on and off all day and decided to take a nap. You can't have cravings when you're asleep, right? Unless you have drinking dreams I guess.

Anyway, when I woke up from my nap I had horrible anxiety! It was really bad!!! I called a friend and she asked me when the last time I went to an AA meeting was. I told her it had been several days. She told me that if I went to an AA meeting that I would feel so much better. She promised!

I my anxiety was through the roof and I was restless irritable and discontent to the max! I decided to take her advice and go to an AA meeting. I went early and stayed late. I don't know what it is about those meetings for me but after the meeting my anxiety was completely gone and I felt like a completely different person! And is crazy!

If it hadn't been for that AA meeting and just talking to other alcoholics who completely related to how I felt, I might have drank last night. Thank God I didn't! Today is day 38.

I'm headed to another AA meeting this afternoon. I love you all and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Kiki- well done on your stuff. I often find that meetings do not seem on the look of them - give me peace. They mostly do. I think the effort to go, socialise and perhaps pick up some learnin' really helps. Cheers, PJ
