I went home sober, felt a loss, felt hurt, but felt relief too. I can't put up with that anymore. Of course I will miss her, and really want her to join us. But that's not what's happening so I have to let go. I want to spend my energy on new friendships, and old ones with sober people. It hurts now, but I will be so much happier soon.
My favorite season is here! I plan to get my fall flowers out, do some hiking at the lake, and work on my friendships and familyships.

Hi all. I'm so happy to have made my 8 months...I'm loving my sobriety this time around and taking nothing for granted.
Congratulations to all the milestoners, especially Delilah. I think we started on SR at about the same time. I'm so happy we finally got this thing.

Just wanted to say how grateful I am to all of you who work so hard to keep this site running for us all. It's like AA. The meetings don't just happen. People make them happen. Kind people. Kind recovering alcoholics.

Dont remember anything about yesterday.
Beer, whiskey and cocain. Just exploded, havent been right for 3 or 4 weeks. The eternel question : after 3 months and 1 week I wait for things to be perfect only it's actually harder to manage life from day to day. Family, work, money, machinery, rénovating thé house, Ive basically been a cuxxxxt with Mrs Vman for 3 weeks. And mrs Vman is the coolest person i know. What is my problem....???
