Hey guys!
sorry I have been AWOL. I was having some connection issues on my home laptop, but I finally got things working.
Things are going good here...... still taking things in at work, and trying to get my groove back.
Glad to hear everyone is keepin on!! Good luck on quitting smoking Sim, and Elke, good luck on the no junk food. I have yet to give up on either of those things........... but my time will come.......
CG-- hope things are getting better for you. One day at a time!!!
I will check in later today, with no wireless for a few days, I have a lot of catching up to do!!!!

Quice check in here after a ludicrously busy week. We were meant to be meeting one of my friends for brunch today, but we've called a raincheck and have decided to hang out at home instead - I think we all need the break!
Simplicity - good work with the cigarettes. Keep going!
Elke - yay for paychecks! Makes the week so much more bearable, I find.
Camery - boo to fickle technology. Hope it fixes itself soon.

Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday! Woke up at the crack of dawn this morning and decided to get up and enjoy some peace and quiet and listen to the rain.
All in all not a bad Saturday-- for excitement we went grocery shopping. LOL- but we really haven't gone since we moved here, and it was much needed. Made a nice chicken dinner and relaxed watching scary movies. As facebook started to fill up with drunk pics of Halloween shenanigans, I was happy I was snuggled in my blankie safe and sound. And of course waking up to no hangover, nausea, etc. is always worth waking up to.
Not too much on the agenda for today. My internet is working fine now, so its all good!

Thanks Elke I'll check out the meditation. Yes we went trick or treating with my youngest (eldest too cool now lol). I've upset them both pretty badly so it's pretty delicate here today. They deserve better. I deserve better too.
Still battling chronic fear but it's something I have to endure to come out the other side I know that. I'll be boring you all with my woes for a while I'm afraid.......hope everyone else is doing well I've missed you all xxx

Please keep woeing Jo, that's what it all about, don't hold back. I'm so glad you came back.
A slip up is sad but you did the right thing and came here. You'll learn from this. Believe in yourself Jo, you can do this. Try to picture yourself in a couple of years time with your children, sober and happy. You can make it happen. Deep breath and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. It's not far Jo, keep going please.
I'll be here for another couple of hours and will look out for your posts ok. You're not alone. Lots of love xxx
