Bobbie that's so funny ~ I also refer to myself as a pit bull sometimes.....I can be sweet as hell, as long as people don't give me a reason to bite their heads off!

Kiki I can relate to most of the vents (other than the husband/kids, lol) ~ Tried the relationship thing - yep, not for me!

And kids? Kudos to you guys, I don't know how you do it!

I'm so glad to see you all on here

Yeah the husband and kids make sobriety.....interesting.

I actually wonder who I would have become without my high school sweetheart, marriage, and 3 kids close in age.

Maybe a 34 year old has-been alchy. Or maybe a marathoner. Or a doctor. Sigh.

I've really got nothing major to complain about but sobriety sure does make you reflect.

Ladybug!!!!!

So it was an okay movie -a little on the light side but decent and some good takeaways for sure...

Yeah it wasn't my favorite! I would totally choose When A Man Loves A Woman, Flight, Smashed....over that. But I still enjoy adding to my recovery-related film and book repertoire.

Agree with all the above (and beyond). My 12 step homework this week (apart from continuing the 12th) is to write out MY bill of rights about me. We hold these truths to be self evident is great on paper. T

Yeah, I should talk to the doc!

It gets even harder, maybe, when the energy is gone. And it's not just because I can't eat today (prep). Couldn't eat yesterday either (my fault). Use that energy for good things!! Stay sober.
Thx Pelagic! I needed to vent! I felt better immediately!
