So relax a bit, take it easy. Ask your doc for a short term prescription if it would make your travel easier.
Being in recovery means that I do not take anything that alters my state of mind ~ not ever.

And I really am keeping it simple....please don't worry.
The crazy busy stuff in the last few days is due to the next part of my life...I needed to make some decisions and plans, and it had to be done now.

And it's Friday, and the footy finals are on here right now, and the CATS are playing tonight....not my team, but you all know how much I love cats.

Time to relax and enjoy the sunshine....so very grateful for another sober Friday. ♥

Good for you, Suze (You wrote that you abstain from mind altering prescriptions as endangering your recovery). Yogi Berra (not a Hindu) would have said that sobriety isn't everything- it's the only thing. If you've got sobriety you've got it all.
I love cats. Not all cats love me, or at least some appear distant and uninterested. I've always gotten along well with dogs, except for the one that nearly chewed my arm off. (not mine, belonged to the groomer. I think he may have been a Republican voter). A champion English Setter but a canine terrorist. Had a Greek name. Something like Ulysses. He had many wives and just wanted to discourage my leering at them. They should have worn Burkas. Over here in the U.S. these days he would have been Presidential material.
Not sure what a footy final is. Are the CATS a soccer team?

Woof and Meow- Bill.

Imagining dogs in burkas.....

AFL is Australian Rules Football, not soccer in any way, and I am a very passionate fan. The Cats (nickname) are actually Geelong Football Club, and tonight's game is going to be one for the record books.

I have heard that the Mongolians used to use human heads in polo matches. Now they may use only sheeps' heads. I may be sheepish but I do not favor using human heads, even during an election year.

Yes aussie ~ I do. If I had my way, 22C would be the warmest temp. I boil in summer here.

And I'm told that I will be in NY at the perfect time....fall there is lovely I hear, a good time for touring. And then as it gets colder, I will be in the South, and then California, so it will be nice and warm there.

How are you love....missed you the last few days.

Beautiful lilies. We have a dog named Lilly, like a fox she is, loves the woods and hugs. She grew up on a farm in VT before coming down to MA, 3 children raised her so she loves going up on the couch (not allowed by Mr.) Busy weekend planned, going into the city twice with friends. Hope everybody is doing well tonight.

Dr. Johnson (18th Cent. Eng.) had a cat named Lily. And possibly a third cat named Oscar, father of Lily and Hodge, the most famous cat, whose bronze memorial stands in Johnson's courtyard at London's Gough Square. The only reason I mention this is that my dog's name is Boswell. He's English, unlike his namesake, the Scottish Johnson biographer who was given to "gallantry".

Good my love.

I just ordered a gorgeous travel documents folder and journal, a power adapter, a little pod thingy to keep my Aussie sim card and other things safe, and I put a hold on my mail for the time I am away.

Amongst other things....having fun here.
Oh, and my finger protectors are completely perfect. So that's good.

Huge hugs for you my very early-morning friend.

How about a money belt to keep you safe from pickpockets? Glad your finger is behaving. You can call your cat on Skype. She may put you on hold "Your call is important to us! This call may be monitored for quality and training purposes! Please stay on the line, meow! etc."
Go with the flow. Float with the Tao.

Bill.
