Hi UP, hope your day is going well.

I've discovered that there is an Eckhart Tolle local group that meets up twice each month. It's a sort of meditation group. Anyway, I've arranged to meet the group organiser on Sunday (it's quite close to where my parent's live, so it could work out well. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of organised groups, but I thought I might just try it.

Mariah, you've inspired me to reread "the power of now", I've also ordered another ET book which should arrive in a few days time. It's strange how I seem to go through cycles of focusing on spiritual things, then it fades for a while, only to reignite a few weeks later.

Ohm....!

Good luck with your job application, Izzy. It sounds like there's a lot for you to get excited about!

It's been a fairly good day today, managed to catch up on some of the backlog from my holiday, and I'll have time tomorrow to hopefully get up to date completely. That would be a satisfying end to the week.

Hope everyone's doing well.

Hi Fools,

I've been suffering from depression.

The change in everything has rattled me.

Wife is on side, so I've been working through it.

Many issues I ran away.from have resurfaced now I'm back.

I miss my father terribly.

Sorry for my absence, internet went down for a.while and I've been confused as to what I'm doing, what's happening....

In for the bargain this weekend.

Love to all.

I'm sorry you've been suffering obo - but at least it's out in the light so you can work on it now.

I'm really glad you posted - don't be a stranger.

I'm in as well - have a good weekend peeps

I too am sorry you are suffering obo. Can you seek some kind of counseling to help you work through this? I don't know close you are to that kind of help.

Keeping you in my thoughts.

Obo, I'm glad you've posted. I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering so badly. Perhaps this might be the start of some deeper healing for you? I hope this wave passes through you soon, to find you surfing above it on the other side!

Beautiful imagery Freein !

Obo,.... my addiction would try to fool me into thinking I had some valid "reasons" to want to get high,...... but in reality, everything I came up with as a "reason" was something similar to what thousands went through everyday without. getting drunk every day. Divorce, loss of a family member, unrequited love ,...... the list goes on forever.

,....... , they had me get on a scale at the clinic yesterday before checking my vitals.

Realized I need to lose 25 pounds to be roughly 10 over my natural weight !!?

On antibiotics for pneumonia now . Feeling better already !!

Changed the outboard's lower unit oil this afternoon on the skiff, and cleaned the propeller waiting for it to drain good.

.

Keeping my fingers crossed the plumber's tape just added on a fitting will correct the slow leak around the hydraulic steering piston for the Yamaha outboard. !

Danny Brown stopped by earlier as I was finishing the oil change and I mentioned the ongoing occasional slow leaking hydraulic fluid. He said: " it's usually just a joint at a threaded fitting" and suggested using plumber's tape. Will see in the morning if it worked !??

( I'm pretty optimistic so far )

Tops, you're on meds for pneumonia, and still working on the skiff! Wow, that is true passion. I hope you're still resting and giving yourself time to heal though?

Mariah, sorry to hear there's sickness in your clan too, hope everyone's feeling better soon.

I did my first 3 mile run yesterday since coming back from holiday. In fact I'd not ran for 4 weeks, so was expecting a few sore muscles. I was right, my muscles are sore. Tried some yin yoga this morning to loosen up, which was lovely, but I'm really as stiff as a board at the moment.

Before visiting my parents today, I'm meeting up with the person who runs a local meditation group, to find out a bit more about it. I'm not sure if I'll have time to attend very often, but once in while would still be good.

Btw, Tops, you'll get rid of that 25lbs in no time!

Have a great Sunday all.

Good morning y'all !

Izzy, ..... is this your last weekend before the Big Move ?

Hope you're feeling back to 100% soon Mariah !

If the storm named *Mathew* starts curling east in a day or so, the media will be scaring the bejeezus out of us (( )) on the southern US coast later in the week . Already have plans to bike down to the resort and ride it out there if they issue mandatory evacuations.
