Congrats Up !

It's supposed to be raining here for several more days also Obo, ...
Nice to have something to ride in that keeps me drier than the scooter ,...

With the help of some wd40 and several wrenches,...hopefully corrected the valve problem on the live well located under the deck of the skiff yesterday. The pump seems to be working alright after testing it with hose water ,.... managed to eff up the valve several months ago when it was stuck in the *open* position.

Not exactly sure why I ever thought it needed to be wrestled *closed * in the first place !!?
LOL

Top- when you talk like that, I have to slow down and read it over a couple of times- like a different language lol! You def sound like you know your stuff tho

Our house closes in 2.5 wks. Feels like it's taking forever even tho that happened pretty fast. Hoping everything goes smoothly and no one
Changes their mind or anything crazy like that ...

Enjoying some quiet .... Ahhhhhhh

Up, ...I have this theory some sedentary folks, ..as they age, .. may unconsciously find themselves easily annoyed, and worked up to replicate a sort of workout.

Probably the main reason I need to keep working out !?!

Curmudgeon be-gone technique.

Looks like the worst of tropical storm Julia missed us ,....... some flooding and more yard cleanup ,.. but nothing like last week .

Keeping my fingers crossed the closing will sail thru Izzy !

Yes, still swimming, getting stronger.

We have a vegetable garden and I am into it.

This shall be my therapy, I shall develop a green thumb.

Aim to start working again when the outlaws arrive Dec 1.

Am nearly 42 need to stop smoking.....

Still in my head.

Politics in Australia is amazing, we now have a far right voice in the Senate.

Beginning of the end!

How you Up...?

Tops, 110 ml in 3 days ..

Dams are connected now from surrounding properties.

Our dams full.

We only have 1 water tank though.

I'm still trying to figure out the plumbing.

And I'm an.idiot, so it's not.going to be quick.

Obo- I think gardening sounds like a great idea. Cooking for me has become something I discovered in sobriety. I used to view it as a chore, but now I truly enjoy the whole process from prep to obviously eating. UP nailed the anger and resentment advice, but I will add that when I choose to carry around anger, I'm choosing to suffer. Nothing good for me ever comes from it.

Well, today is 8 months sober; it's crazy to say. I don't really count, but it's nice when it hits. Beyond that, it's been an interesting work week. I started training for that promotion and unfortunately I've come to realize it's not for me. The good news is if I fail training, I just go back to my old role. So tomorrow is operation nose dive. On the one hand, I feel bad about not just coming out and telling the company I'm not comfortable with the position. On the other hand, I think me telling them I don't agree with the role on moral grounds wouldn't be well received. Yet, I'm feeling immoral about the means I have to go to be moral and do the right thing, haha.

The main culprits are about 15 years younger than me tops. I really think they like drama. They are also spoiled brats that think everyone owes them something, are put here to take care of them.

I'm doing ok obo, things could be better but .... who am I to complain, like it will help. Still working through PT so when I go back to the doc I can then go get an MRI then wait to get sent to a specialist. The insurance 2 step.
Still not much luck on the job front, I'm going to have to figure out a way to shake things up. Trying to not let it get me down though.

Congrats Noolan
