It's a curious thing, but I don't care for sugary food at all - pickles and salty snacks are what I enjoy more.
No doubt there was some deep and meaningful reason why I chose my user-name

So DH has to work tonight unexpectedly....this means that I have to come up with dinner myself. Dinner is usually his domain or a joint effort as I am typically home so late. So....I am being creative and making a tex mex lentil pasta and kale casserole....I know it sounds awful...lol I will let you know how it turns out or if I eat McDonald's....

I have a job to do and it's absolutely nothing personal Kayak.

Leaving would be a massive overreaction and a real blow to your recovery.
I really hope you reconsider.

Well dinner actually turned out great....look!! lol

It has been a quiet night here - DD is home but is leaving soon to go out with friends and DH won't be home until around 10:30pm. I might watch a movie or something and just hang out here.....I hope you're all having a great night

Hey Sam!! Busy day for me - but a good day. We hired a few new people in our department. One of the things I really enjoy is mentoring the younger guys/ladies. I've learned a lot over the years and, while I don't always have the drive I used to, I really do enjoy sharing what I know. Plus, working with the "kids" helps keep my brain young. Ha.
