Thanks guys, it took out much of the town, but it didn't make it as far south as my mom's place. It's headed north now out into the wild country. They just arrested a guy for arson. He is charged with starting 17 fires, including this one. Unforgiveable.
In other news, today was the first day of Kindergarten. I think it was easier for her than it was for me! I went to pick her up from daycare early prepared to comfort her from the terrible trauma she had surely suffered...and she was happy as a lark and didn't want to leave. She only agreed to go home when I promised she could come back first thing tomorrow morning.

So so glad to know your mum and her animals and home are safe Briar love.
And yes, that is unbelievable except for the fact that it so often turns out that these fires are arson. I personally don't think there is a bigger or worse crime.
And awwww......glad you and A are both OK. First days of kinder are very traumatic for mums. Sending you so much love. ♥

I made an appointment to see a naturopath tomorrow...I feel really unwell. And pretty down right now. And I am having terrible trouble eating..it's probably all nerves. I have no idea really, but the naturopath might.
