Class of July 2013 Part 35
Happy Birthday, Casey! I'm sorry, I'm not savvy like the others with the emoticons. When I try, I usually lose my post! Have a happy day!
I used to love the British TV show Hitchhikers.
I went to the bar and it was fine, if a little loud. A guy I know complimented me on my dress so that was nice. Someone at the table asked what I was drinking and I said cranberry and soda. She said, oh, no alcohol? The guy told me he doesn't drink either and he high fived me! Nice man, he's very friendly and has a lovely wife and daughter. We are in a Spanish class together.
My girlfriend still doesn't get that I don't drink. She was drinking strong cider and asked if I wanted a taste. Her husband was foolishly drunk, talking rubbish. He's a smart man but is so unappealing when drinking heavily, which, it seems to me, is his only pastime.

Dearest Suze,
I'm so sorry that you are feeling very low. It's hardly surprising given what is going on with your health, as well as dealing with mood issues too.
You are a brave lady. Good for you for pushing through, but don't demand too much of yourself. Thinking of you.

Hi Suze. I was reading through the forums the other day and saw you are facing a challenging time right now. I think it's awesome news on the all clear on the lungs...and I hope the finger is saveable. If not, it's going to be tough, but what has to be done, has to be done.
Drinking is not going to help your body physiology in any way to fight this. And this is a fight. And athletes don't drink before they go out and reach their greatest heights - and neither will you, I believe that. Your body is just firing up all the stress coping messages that were imprinted in your brain when trauma struck in times past in your life. Now there's a better, stronger way to cope that puts you at your healthy best. I know you know that, but I wanted to tell you I believe you know that deep down and will get through.
Wishing you peace and strenght as you face this.xx

We got so anxious about it that we stayed up with friends playing cards on day 4 of being overdue. After a full night of entertaining and finally hitting the pillow exhausted at 12.30am, I literally said something like, "omg, I'm so tired" to my husband, and as I lay down, my head just literally touched the pillow, and you guessed it, my waters broke.
All I can say is tell your wife to have regular naps, going into labour tired is no fun!
Hello all,
Hello Dear Croissant, it is lovely to see you post. You've been missed. I hope you are well.
It was cool yesterday so I got some weeding done. Honestly, anything to put off doing my homework, due tomorrow! I'm so glad I'm far removed from studying and exams! I think it's my perfectionist streak, I worry about not doing a stellar job, so I leave it to the last minute! Feeling better about the play process, as long as I don't get my knuckles rapped for not doing my research perfectly!
