Class of March 2011 Part 25
I love these pictures too PBC it looks really pretty , I think I could enjoy Christmas like that. We will spend the day on our back deck because it will be too hot to sit inside , our Christmas lunch will be cold meats and salad also loads of prawns and oysters ,then for dinner we will eat what ever is left over , it will be nice , we are having my parents over . Then I have to work every day for the rest of the holidays or until the tourists numbers dwindle.
Well, our extended family Christmas party got cancelled today. Too much snow, it hasn't stopped all day. School got cancelled for tomorrow, too. So we're pretty much hunkered down inside, but it sure is pretty. I guess my cross country skis were left up north, which is a bummer. I need to bring them down state.
Your Christmas sounds great, aussie!

Christmas shopping is finally done, I have 2 presents wrapped and beside my tree ( tree is to small to put them under. lol ) I left to go to town at 6.30 am Tuesday ( it takes an hour to drive there) thinking the mall would already be busy , but to my delight it was very quiet , I got all my groceries done and the Christmas gifts and was home by 11.00 am . The police were doing random breath tests as I went into to town but they let me drive past, I must even look straight these days . LOL.
Hope your all doing well.
Love from Auss.

Here's one from downtown again, but this time a night picture. There is quite a bit more snow than this shows, but our downtown area has heated sidewalks so that they are always clear. Dh and I have date night every Friday, and this is where we most often go.
Thanks PBC , loving the photos , I can only dream.
Things are starting to get busy around here , but mostly it all happens boxing day onwards , most people have Christmas day at home then we get swamped with tourists from then on . I do some holiday house cleaning work and have been kept busy with spring cleans before the tourist onslaught.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Aussie!!!!!!!!
Just think ... one day you'll be able to say that 2016 was the year you DID it ... it was the last year alcohol was a part of your life, and the beginning of freedom.

Aussie, this was the sunrise over the snow this morning just outside of town.
Dh and I are planning a trip for our 25th anniversary, which is next week. We're going to recreate our honeymoon, but better. When we went 25 years ago, we were broke. Ha! This time we're going to see a broadway show and go to a swanky New Year's party with live bands and dancing and confetti. I have no fear of drinking, which is such a miracle. I'm going to enjoy dressing up and dancing with my hubby and eating lots of special treats. I can't wait!
