Thanks for the laughs, Kiki! I woke up early and then climbed back into bed. Going to run, then clean my house. I think all of the kids and grandkids are coming for barbecue.

Kiki - thanks for the laughs and the quotes. Loved some of those quotes. I'll have to write them down in my journal. Even when I was drinking, the 4th has never been my favorite holiday because people act really stupid. Even though fireworks are illegal in Illinois, people still light them off for three days straight. My last dog hated fireworks to the point that she had to be sedated or she would pace, pant and cry for three days. Poor thing. That's what started my sour attitude toward the holiday. And I had her for 14 years! Thankfully my dog now doesn't care about the booms.
Bobbie - have a good time on your run. I was told as early as my teens that I couldn't run (bad knees), oh darn. I do hope to get back to swimming one of these days now that it is actually appealing to me again since I'm not fighting hangovers everyday. I'll figure out how to fit that in once my shoulder is back to proper working order.
Late start to the day here. One last sleep in hurrah before the early mornings of a working stiff start.
