Class of October 2014 Part 31
Thanks for all the support my friends.
Well, it's over, and I survived. I did feel quite anxious, and it delayed things a bit, but my dentist is patient. I know things were running late, perhaps due to me, but she never lets on. I only know because I was there for 3 hours, and was told 2. It was not the least bit pleasant, but it's over. And, bonus, so far, no pain. Sometimes I ache for a few days.
Venus, I've been thinking of you and wishing I could give you a big hug. I know how hard this is.

Yay - so glad that it is over, phoebe. Hope the 'pain-free status' continues!!!
Glad you're OK phoebe.
We are going to have one more day together....she had a really good night, ate well, and is happy. One more day. I spoke to the vet...everyone agrees this is fine. I don't want to be selfish, but this is crazy hard.
Thank you all for the love. We both appreciate it a great deal. ♥

I was half awake all night. But that doesn't matter. Venus had a good night. Think I need you guys to call me Suze for the moment. Venus needs to be Venus, if that makes any sense.

Wife away with the ladies at a new restaurant in town leaving me with a little time back here to try and get used to this site on an iPhone. Seems that little one got my wife to agree to getting her a phone a little early....was supposed to be her bday gift this fall. So wife and little one are enjoying their new phones and I get the hand-me-down model 5......replacing my beloved 7 year old Samsung.
What I've learned so far.....the buttons are tiny when trying to type stuff and I may need reading glasses. Solution.....go get my iPad .

Thanks Suze. This phone is fine for me and they really like the newest stuff etc.....
Besides, I like to slide my phone into my pants pocket and the newer models seem a bit bulky for that. Glad you're getting a phone you like!

We just got a first phone got ds, and a new phone for dd, but she kicked in some cash for hers. I like the small size of my iPhone 5s, but, I downsized from a larger droid razor. I don't have great vision, so, I am thinking the next one will be bigger, but I love dropping this small one in my pocket.
Mark, I love the place you got for NZ!! Looks amazing!

This is my idea of a good empty-nest home. Completely different from my very traditional plantation style place. It's where I'm staying the first few nights of my trip this November and I'm almost obsessed with it. Trying not to be too effusive (had to work that in) but I'd love to putter around in a garden down there. On tough days I just pull up the gallery pics and go to that far and away place in my mind. The view out that wall of windows is great! Something similar could maybe be made from container.

I LOVE it. Thinking it's big enough for me as well.

Back to my iPad turned horizontal. Yep, my eyes are fine.
That's the place Suze! Yep room aplenty.....and very reasonably priced. Seems that there's a stream near and a nice hiking trail very near. I really like that sunny wall of windows. Coffee will taste great there.
I hope your mouth feels ok phoebe.
Going away this weekend and a bit anxious tbh. It started as a business trip but happens to be an anniversary too so I asked my wife to join me, reduced my business schedule and added a couple of days for leisure. I hope it'll be a nice time without too much pressure. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations. I don't even know how long since we travelled without an entourage and that's so different from early on when we were younger.
I hope you're making it ok Suze.
