Oh man, my tooth! Judging by the pain, I'll be getting that root canal work done at my appt tomorrow. It's been decades since my teeth/tooth have hurt this much! One more sleep Bobbi ....I'm checking in for the next 24 hours, so grateful to my HP today. In the past I most likely would numb this physical pain with bottles of wine. Thank you AA & you guys here, I have tools today to see this through.

So....Mother Earth has done Her rotation and I sit here again contemplating my place. I am small and insignificant and it's an honor for which I am grateful.
Thank you for my health, my body which needs me to be careful, for my teeth which do not hurt today....for my small place in the grand scheme of Things.

I went to a children's party yesterday afternoon with my kids. I thought it would be juice sandwiches and cake. It was but alcohol was free flowing too for adults...It was totally unexpected and offered in a glass right under my nose. Twice the av try to spring into action and twice I had to decline. It was dangerous for me as 1) unexpected so unprepared and unplanned for 2) I was the only adult who abstained 3) no other alternative nice drinks 4) new social situation.
I think I went into auto pilot in declining which is a first for me and I'm so glad I did!!
