BBG sausage sarnie is another name for a sausage sandwich, normally with brown or tomato sauce. Sausage sizzle is something we have at community events schools etc, it's just a snag on the barbie done with onions and your choice is sauce on bread. It's normally a gold coin donation, we have them everywhere. Especially out the front of the hardware store. I love that you're using these terms BBG so cool

Kiki I love that list, thanks for sharing!! So interesting to me. Some pretty similar things along with less common stuff. I love cooking, and I love eating. Food is my happy place

Eating a salmon burger right now. No bread. Taking a break from putting pics together to eat.

Day is going great. Talked to my husband a lot. I think he is really starting to understand. It's such a relief.

Running again is making me feel so good too. I knew it would. I think I didn't really want to feel good while I was drinking.

BBG, I guess talking about food is the way to get you to talk more. Love it!

Kiki- I'm going to start the book next week, after the graduation party.

Samantha-hey! Thanks for getting me off my butt. I respond to challenges, lol.

Immri- hey! Good morning! I'm grilling hot dogs and hamburgers tomorrow for my daughter's party. There is a reason hot dogs taste weird...the ingredients!

Okay, break over. Back to work! Love you guys!

Hi Apple!!!

Yes, it was fun making that list! I didn't realize I had that many menu items until I typed it all out in one list. I'm gonna print it off for future reference. :-)

I got one off of Pinterest. It's okay. I like getting them from the deli too. When I have more time I'll find the recipe. You should share yours. It's truly my favorite food right now. (Not ice cream anymore, thank God)

Oh I love salmon burgers!
Speaking of all this cooking, I'm right now making a huge batch of feta stuffed meatballs and sauce, but completely outing the blue without knowing this conversation my family just asked me to make bangers and mash for dinner. So there's another sausage thing!

Reasonably short Saturday night at work. Made good money considering. Definitely been a slow weekend since it's the first real weekend of summer here. I'm guessing a lot of folks headed out of town.

Congrats on one month, 1stepup! Very proud of and happy for you.

Not going to respond to everyone else. I'm tired and have a long day ahead of me tomorrow with lunch and dinner shifts, probably just going to work straight through, so I'm going to try and crash early. But glad to see this class staying busy today.

Hope everyone has had a safe and sober Saturday/Australian Sunday, and thanks to all of you for keeping me sober one more day!

If you're struggling, remember you don't have to take that first drink today no matter what. It's a false solution. There's no problem so bad that a drink can't make it worse.

Speaking of food: 1) I made a run to the store last night at 10:30 to quench my cheesecake craving. It tasted much better this morning, though . 2) I had a lazy dinner with a frozen broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast and perogies.

DD is home from her dad's and he spoiled her with too much $$ for all of the A's she earned on her report card. He's making me look cheap, lol (mostly because I don't give $$ for grades)!! I think he overcompensates because he can't spend a lot of time with her with his work schedule. That should be changing later this month though.
