Welcome Class of June. I'm in the April class and on day 53. I've tried this many times before but first time with SR. It's amazing what the accountability and support of being part of a class of folks at a similar stage of recovery can do to keep you strong. Our April class is already a family. I wish the same for you. Post and read often. And lean on your new friends.

I know exactly what you mean. Ive always been bad about tossing and turning for hours and that just makes it worse based on advice from here. today I woke up after about 4 hours of sleep and played games/watched tv with the wife for 2 hours or so and was able to get another 3 before work. this is 2 hours from the end of my work day so ill be checking in at the beginning of most of our groups days
I'm in if y'all will have me.
I'm on day 3, new tools, Got some AA. CDs going in the car morning and evening commute, went to a meeting, gonna make it regular. I'm worth the effort. Not losing everything, if my higher power is willing, I am.
Nice to meet every one.

Good morning! I posted a little in the May class. Since this is only day 5 and WILL be (positive self talk) my first full month sober in over 8 years, I'm joining this class.
SR has been such a blessing to me. Without it, I wouldn't have had the courage to go to my first AA meeting and last night my second.
Let's stick together and help each other start the beginning of the rest of our lives! 💪❤👍

Hi. I'm trying again. My drinking has gotten worse over the last month since I've been trying to quit. Either I fool myself into thinking I can drink normally after getting a week or two under my belt, or I go over the top with the "one last weekend" binges. I need to find a way off this merry go round.
