Had a slip (posted about it in Alcoholism if anyone is interested in the gory details) but today am back to commit for 24 hours.

Yesterday was difficult but still have a strong desire to live a sober life, and made it through the last 24, back on the path.

Thank you all for helping me to stay strong 💪

So glad that you are back, Vinicifent.

It's going to get easier, Neo, I promise. Things got easier for me when I began to recognize each sober moment as the great blessing it truly was - no way did I wantto give that up. Try to recognize something good in each moment - it becomes so therapeutic.

Thanks Leigh my spaceship example is not the best way to put it lol but I think people get what I was trying to say :)

Good on you. :)

I'm back on day 2. Seem to get about 7 days and then relapse. The longest I had was 12 days but I won't quit trying. Barbecuing with family and all of them are sober so that's a good thing. I'm here and committing to another 24 hours. It's 12:09 in california

Neo36 05-30-2016 12:47 PM
