Hello everyone !! I did open up at AA yesterday and told them my story and they just listened. They clapped when I told them my liver was ok. I will follow through and see what my Dr. says about the anemia. ugh---I'm not a Dr. person.

You guys are such a good sounding board for me. I feel better just telling you about it. I haven't mentioned it to my family yet. I figure I will wait till I have some answers myself.
I planted some flowers last night and If I say so myself they look pretty darn good.

I got a place in college! For a moment I thought they were going to deny my application because there were a few complications. But it all got sorted and they confirmed I could start. It's my first full day of work tomorrow. I'm so tired, it's looking like I'm going to be spending all of Saturday in bed.

Fantail - What wonderful news!!! We cross posted yesterday and I missed what you wrote until I checked in today. I've stopped and started many attempts at many things. I've tried, succeeded, screwed up, and given up many times over the years. It continues to wow and amaze me how things have a way of working out, even when I feel like I've run out of chances. Im so glad you're having this opportunity to start over again too.

Thanks everyone! First day of work today and then I finally have a day off! I need it, this week has been exhausting. Feeling a bit nervous as I won't know what I'm doing today - but then that's to be expected. I'll be checking in with you guys about my day in no time.

Congratulations on getting past 4 weeks now Babs! I missed it yesterday. I'm not really much of a Doctor person myself but I'm sure they can get your anemia fixed up fairly easy.

Thanks waywardson---I will be going in again next week for more lab work and making a appt. with my dr. as she requested.
Everything else seems to be going good. I slept really hard last night and feel sluggish today. yuk--We are going to the lake so, hope to have internet.

Thanks everyone! First day of work wasn't much fun, but I've had worse jobs and I was only at my training shop today. Got a half day tomorrow so I get a lie-in at least!

Don't worry too much OT as I don't consider my job much fun at all either most of the time. I have to go in for a half day today too as it is crazy busy there today. I'm working all of next weekend too.
