Thanks for the new thread, Dee!

V, are you feeling any better after your lunch out? Eating out with food allergies is stressful at the least, and dangerous its worst. It requires so much trust in strangers preparing the food. The smoking would make me ill too. Smoking has really declined around here. I don't think I know more than one smoker. It's not allowed in any restaurants or buildings.

I think that I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The flu symptoms have been racheted down a few good notches. I am still extremely fatiqued and lethargic, though. It is still hard to focus, too.

I am starting to see some glimpses of my old self.

Love to all,

Leigh

I can't stand to be around smokers, either, phoebe and v. I start to cough immediately. Thankfully, smoking is banned in public places so I come in contact with it infrequently.

V, have you been ill?

Glad you've turned a corner, Leigh, but sorry it's such a nasty flu.

I went out for lunch and got food poisoned Leigh...as it turns out, it was garlic. So I was very sick. I actually shouldn't have driven home....I don't even remember it. All good this morning though.

Yes phoebe and Leigh, we are lucky that smoking is banned in so many places now. It is about to be banned in all outside eateries in our city centre, which is great I think.

Unfortunately, all of my neighbours on every side, both of my sisters and closest girlfriend smoke...I hate it. And they just do not understand that it is still awful if they smoke outside.

So glad you have turned the corner on this terrible flu Leigh. You have been sick such a long time.

And phoebe, are you completely over it now? It was a long time for you as well.

Beautiful day here today, but still so windy. Going to check on my possums.

Hi gang. Pleasantly breezy here as well V. With a dinner meeting last night and heavy schedule today I'm looking good forward to settling in for a nice decaf on the patio. The others have plans this evening but I'm not up to it.

Glad you've turned the corner Leigh and phoebe. Wishing all a pleasant weekend.

Food poisoning and allergic reactions are two different things, Vee. Sensitivity to garlic is very common. Both my parents can't have it. I'm glad your on the mend!

Sounds like a nice and quiet relaxing night, Mark. Enjoy it! It's raining and quite foggy here, so I'll be inside tonight.

About to put my oldest to bed. Then maybe I can sit down today.

Night all.

Hope you get some time to chill Arbor.

Yes, severe allergic reaction and food poisoning are different.
I didn't care yesterday though, I was too sick.

Glad you are feeling better, V!

Gorgeous day ahead here. We have a soccer game with the boy, then soccer tomorrow with the girl. After today's game, the kids want to see Captain America Civil War. They will have had lots of sun by the time we go, though I hate wasting a minute of this kind of dreamy weather inside. They have been dying to see it. Dd has a big crush on Chris Evans.

It's the new pro 9.7 inch. My husband got it for me with points he had on some credit card. Very nice of him.

I certainly don't feel like I deserve it, though. I'm having a very hard time right now.
