Yesterday I celebrated 8 months of sobriety. I thought the picture rang true and depicted how I felt at the time.

I really like your new bubbler. A nice addition to your tranquil gardens.

Good to see you, Leigh! I hope this is the week that things turn around for you.

Not in the best of moods today. Got some family over and all I'm over hearing is their vacation plans and drinking talk. I'm the farthest thing in their world. I should be happy to see everyone, but instead I feel alone. I rather bond and hang with my four year old to be honest. Can't help but feel like a child. Guess I'll just wallow in this funk for a bit. Worn out...

Hey Arbor. I know that it's difficult/impossible for each us to know what the others deal with at times. i wouldn't like hearing that talk either, especially in my home. With hand on your shoulder and looking you in the eye I tell you that you're an inspiration to me.....specifically in the area of attitude. Today seems to present itself as a challenge to that great attitude and I see why. I send you my heartfelt and genuine support my friend.

Many thanks, Mark. I'm over it. Cooked salmon, couscous, and a fresh salad for everyone. Just finished it off with some apple pie and vanilla ice cream.

It's always great to come here and vent to my extended family. These moods are always fleeting, but when in the moment they get the best of me. Point is to do something about it and I did.
