I love mugs. I have so many. My husband doesn't mind me buying them, but to make space in the cabinet, he asks me to get rid of "the ones I don't use." Um...I don't have any like that. I use them all.

Would you believe that what raised my spirits this afternoon was the rollie pollies? We found a different one about a week ago, turns out it's some kind of wood louse, it doesn't curl into a ball. Anyway, it was a pregnant mama, so we put her in her own terrarium because I thought it would be cool for my daughter to see the babies. I checked on her today and found that the babies were born, and there are a trazillion of them. I actually enjoyed watching them for a while.

Having some genmaicha in my new mug. It works just right.

I'm sure your possums are way cuter than my pollies.

They really are cute.
I took down the basket yesterday, and opened up the tarp to check on them.
I can't believe how long I have gotten away with this.
Fingers crossed they stay safe in there for a while longer.

Good morning gang and happy Sunday. There's something comforting about a favorite mug n'est-ce pas? Mine is solid black and heavy. It holds the heat longer than a thin mug and feels good in my hand.

I'm making good use of that mug this quiet morning. The keeping room window is up and I'm enjoying my newest garden indulgence. It's a bubbler fountain that makes such a tranquil sound. It's placed just outside the window and I've been watching a humming bird bathe in it just now. A bird feeder is set up near by so there's lots of activity to enjoy.

Wishing each of you the best day.

Yes phoebe and Leigh, we are lucky that smoking is banned in so many places now. It is about to be banned in all outside eateries in our city centre, which is great I think.

Unfortunately, all of my neighbours on every side, both of my sisters and closest girlfriend smoke...I hate it. And they just do not understand that it is still awful if they smoke outside.

So glad you have turned the corner on this terrible flu Leigh. You have been sick such a long time.

And phoebe, are you completely over it now? It was a long time for you as well.

Beautiful day here today, but still so windy. Going to check on my possums.

So very sorry to hear that you had food poisoning, V. I had it once and it was most unpleasant to say the least. Hope thst you are 100% now, sweetness.

Went out to pick up a prescription and a very few grocery items; it was my first excursion in almost a month and it totally wiped me out.

It is going to be a very quiet day for me.

Love to the Octsobers.
