I loved the one Augustine Burroughs book I read. Can't recall the title right now but I did not know he had a new one. I will have to check it out.

Good morning, all! And happy Mother's Day. I'm being treated to pancakes this morning, by the children, so a good start to day six. No real plans for the day. It's not looking great weather-wise, so not sure that I'll make a lot of progress with the table project. Bug, was it you planning to find a hobby? That sounds an idea. I have my sewing machine set up always, but haven't done a thing with it in ... an age. I could do with a new bag. Perhaps I'll put that on the agenda today.

My hobby was home brew. I'm pretty dam good at it as well my grandad showed me how to make wine from his grapes when I was 14 and I have been brewing beer and wine ever since. Shame I won't be able to do that anymore I have some very cool equipment that will end up in my loft now

Hey guys,
Just checking in. Another beautiful, sunny day here, but I am just too unmotivated and depressed to appreciate it. I am so tired of losing days because I never feel good enogh or interested enough to do anything. But, I'm hanging in there. Going to try and watch some shows I dvr'd and post here a little. For today, I'm safe and I plan on hiding.
I need to recharge before Mother's day tomorrow, and I need to eat, but am having a tough time with the food.
Anyone have any idea on how I could stimulate my appetite?

I get over my malaise periods by starting new habits

Start small, something so small you don't even notice

Over time, on days when you don't feel so good or feel like doing much, you can say to yourself, "well, I did do X and X," and you feel a little better

In my last rut, all I was doing was going to work, getting fast food on the way home, and watching TV

I started getting out of it by making my bed every day, no joke!
