Went all the way to work only to be sent home that there wasn't anything for me to do. Instead of exploding as would normally have done before, I practiced some self control & simply whispered Thy will not mine be done. I'm sure God has something lined up that's gonna leave my jaw hanging opened in awe. Been meditating on a verse that's been nicely tucked away in Titus2:3....even unbelievers will like to see it;if don't have a bible, just google it preferably in Amplified version. Hope you are okay Ms Kris prayed for ya

Woke up this morning, after 6 undisturbed hours, feeling refreshed for the first time in nearly 4 weeks.
It's raining here in my part of the UK but I've made it my habit to stand on the back doorstep listening to the morning sounds, breathing the fresh morning air and examining the sky while I'm waiting for water to boil for my coffee, so out I go in dressing gown and slippers with one of the kids umbrellas. It's a meditative start to another hectic day.
Put me down for another 24 please as I absolutely will not drink today.
Congratulations to us all for making our daily commitment to sobriety.

I love L.A. and haven't seen a quarter of it yet, and I know I wasn't just drunk and didn't remember more 😆
