Hi all - I'm still here. Had a fall over the weekend and still feeling very regretful and down on Day 3. I am so scared I will never get this right and that this disease will take me away from my girls. I have talked with my husband and mom so they are in the loop now. There can be no more drinking or having family gatherings at our house. I think I am strong enough to handle them, but I keep failing under these circumstances. I went back to AA yesterday and think I will get a sponsor. I have to do something different because I don't ever want to drink again and feel the way I did Sunday and still do now, mentally. Love to you all and thanks for putting up with me.

Really good to see you, Ladybug. Very sorry to hear about your fall; AA and a sponsor sound like a very good step/plan.

You are building sober tools Ladybug. Your family knows, and is supporting you, and I think it will help you to not have any more of those big nights at your house.
Put up your hand at AA and ask for a sponsor, and let a few women give you their numbers....and choose who feels right for you. I have a feeling you will find just the right person.

Hi let, Leigh and wolfie. I am not in a good place this morning....boiling hot here.
No air con, so I can't do much abut staying cool Leigh, but I do have my feet on a frozen hot water bottle wolfie.

Hello everybody.
Well Ladybug, your resolve in fighting back and getting on track is an inspiration to us all.
I got my new notebook computer yesterday. I'm slowly setting it up the way I like and adding all the websites for favorites as well as ALL the passwords.
OMG, I can't believe how many passwords a person needs to know these days.
I've been pretty tired as I'm still working 10 hr. shifts.
Our annual review for raises is coming up this month.
I'm not sure what's going to happen. I've had perfect attendance and work very hard and have excelled at the position.
But, sadly I know this company has a track record of being stingy on raises.
If this is the case I will be on the look out for a new job asap.
I hope that's not the case, as it's a small company with potential.
Anyways, hope everybody is having a nice night/day.

10 hour shifts can be draining; no wonder you are tired!!!!!

Keeping my feet cold seems to cool down my whole body for a while. Hope that there is a break in the heat soon, venuscat!!!!!
