Class of October 2014 Part 28
Good morning gang and happy hump day. The pollen is flying about with the typical gusty winds of spring. Flonase is my friend these days! Maybe some rain in the next day or so to clear the air a bit.
I'd like to see your garden too conquest. I'm thinking of planting a few veggies this year. Tomatoes, maybe some squash, cucumbers.
I hope the heat has let up a but V.
Wishing each of you the best day.

Been trying to have a mid-day Octsober check-in all day. Finally grabbed a moment. Busy busy day, but I like it that way most of the time.
I'm thinking about those veggies. May consider putting some in containers or building some raised beds in a sunny area of the back yard. Still looking for a meyer lemon tree too.

I don't know Leigh. I've seen shield bugs (the same thing I think) a few times but haven't tried to grow veggies before. My mom and step dad generally have a garden and share with us. I'd like a few things that we could use as it ripened. I don't have enough space to grow enough to store away by canning or freezing. A vine ripe tomato is hard to beat on BLT or shrimp salad!
I'm OK now, thank you. Although I think it's going to take me a day to get all of my energy back. I was reading about 'heat index' yesterday, new information for me, and helpful in understanding why I am just so hot all of the time now.
Love to all, and nite Leigh.

Australia seems like a pretty hot place most of the time. How cold does it get?
Glad your autumn is coming. Our spring is about to start and the temps are quite fine this week.
I should probably hit the sack soon too. Baby has an ear infection and is teething. Rough day for him.
Nite.

Aww, poor little tyke. Love to him, and you too of course Arbor.
We don't get Autumn in March here anymore. By here, I mean Melbourne.
March is becoming our hottest month of the year.
It never gets cold here Arbor, although I know someone in Sydney who would disagree with that....lowest temp we ever get overnight is around 36F, and that is rare. Coldest winter day is around 48F. But that's here....
Where Dee lives is a different story. Quite a bit warmer than here I think.
Parts of Australia are much hotter...North Queensland and the Northern Territory, for example. But remember, I'm terrible at geography and this sort of thing, so Dee may need to correct me.
