I had a huge urge to buy some drink on the way home from work last night. I was overtired from a hectic week despite me trying to pace myself I really felt I had run a marathon. It was a sunny drive home and I just allowed romantic thoughts to enter my head.
It took all my strength to focus on getting my youngest child from after school club and get home. I ran a bath immediately and ate pizza. The feeling did finally go but I think I need to re-read my journal and look again at my plan.
I was so glad to wake up this morning sober and hangover free. Another 24 for me

Add to your journal how wonderful it feels to wake up sober and hang-over free. Maybe, try focusing on that feeling a couple of times a day!!!
Well, day 60 over here! The last time I made it this far was when I was pregnant and no, I wasn't counting days back then! I don't think I have ever made it this far in the past when attempting sobriety so I think that's a pretty big accomplishment (If I did it was back in 2004)! Been drugging or drinking since age 15 and I am 39 years old.
Anyway, I commit to another 24 hours of freedom/bliss/sobriety and another 24 of healthy and clean eating (yesterday was a success!)
Hugs to you all...
