And so sorry for your loss, Josh!! I lost a cat and in a few weeks I had another
cat. My apartment didn't seem like home without a cat. I will also hold great memories of my first cat JohnJohn but the new cat Tixie is a great companion! I hope your HP can help ease the pain some and I will light a candle for you.

Lol - DQ stands for Dairy Queen (fabulous ice cream shop chain). A blizzard is sort of a thick milkshake/ice cream whipped up with bits of candy - M&Ms, MilkyWays, etc. - so delicious).

I often notice how a well-placed word or two from the right person can turn my attitude in the wrong direction, but I guess I don't think as much about the opposite situation, and maybe I should.
I just got a well-placed sentence from the president of my company that turned my attitude all the way positive. It is going to be a very good day.

The show is a comedy, but they did an excellent and respectable job of portraying this disease as a very real and very deadly enemy in the episode. It further cements my belief that working the program is exactly what I need at this point of my life. Thank God I'm sober, and alive to enjoy the blessings in my life!!!

Hope that a simple 'no thanks' will work, Martina. Have some conversation starters in your pocket to quickly change the subject. After the first 30 minutes or so, people probably won't notice that you aren't drinking anyway.
