I told you about my co-worker, Bob. He works Tuesdays and Thursday. We surprised him with a birthday lunch today-Thursday is his 90th. I bought banners and we decorated his office. I even bought a chair cover for the restaurant. He was totally surprised. We had great Italian food, followed by the special cake that I ordered (he's diabetic). In the car with me on the way back to the office he could not stop talking about what a wonderful day he had. He was so delighted that I did not even give him the gifts that I bought for him-I'll save them for his real birthday. What a great feeling when you know that you made someone feel very special. It was really nice to be a part of that today.

That's a heartwarming thing to read BD. I think we can also gain so much from time spent with active and positive folks of that age. What amazing things seen in his life so far. A generation that truly has the capacity for gratefulness and work ethic.....deserving of respect.

I missed one day (of my volunteer job), but that was OK. I go back tomorrow.
And I have done nothing re studying for a while, and I just made up a new schedule.

I was really not feeling well for ages, months I think, due to 'female' issues.
I was exhausted all of the time, and I put on so much weight.
But all of a sudden, about a week ago, it started to change. I feel like me again, and I have all of my energy back. Plus my body is coming back. I changed my diet, added more Evening Primrose Oil, so maybe it's working.

Yes Mark, absolutely, but what touches me most about that story is the time and effort BD put into celebrating her friend.

You are awesome BD!!!!

It's amazing what a little change in diet can bring. What does the primrose oil do, V?

Um, lots. It's an amazing supplement. Skin, hair, joints, liver health....all sorts of benefits. Plus it's highly recommended for PMS.
So many of the oils have wonderful benefits.
