My daughter, who hates dresses, was awestruck by Kate Blanchett's dress. Charleze looked amazing. I love green, and thought Saoirse Ronan looked amazing.

Okay, I tried. I grabbed a stray piece of watercolor paper, with an ultra fine sharpie. Not at all forgiving. But, my first ever mandala. It is going to be big, because photobucket is not letting me edit.

I did this one late last night on a cheap 12"x12" gold canvas. Used a regular Sharpie. It ended up a little off center, but with a little practice, I think I'll be able to do some decent wall art.

Briar, these mandalas are so beautiful. They would be beautiful as wall art.

I agree. They would look cool as a grouping. I think I need to stick with coloring them.

Just did my elliptical. I was a slug on the weekend, so back at it today. It was hard after staying up too late last night! Now for some lunch. I have some leftover cabbage soup.

Coloring them is probably about my talent level, phoebe, too.

Enjoy the cabbage soup!!!!

Hi Leigh, I think it looks great too. I've never heard of the whole mandala thing. That'll be something nice to research as I wind down this evening.

How have you made it today Arbor?

V should be up soon so I'll go ahead and say happy Tuesday to her.

Hangin in there Mark, thanks. As presumed I couldn't fall asleep last night and when I finally started to the baby woke up. Ended up with four hours or so. I'm wiped right now, but will survive to eat a healthy dinner with the fam soon enough.

Glad your back is alright!

My attitude would suffer greatly with poor rest like that. Glad your work day should be over soon.

That vine is taunting me!

But when I'm done it'll look like this......

Don't let it get to you, Mark. Just cut it at its base and let it rot for a while.

Please don't hurt yourself again.

Nice vine action, Mark. I'd flush cut those stubs close to the ground and spray them so they dont come back.

It's mostly my fault for last nights lousy sleep. Although I enjoyed it, I had way too much coffee yesterday afternoon. I knew I would pay for it and didn't care. My sobriety is mostly fueled by positivity, so i don't let a little lack of sleep get me down. Nothing's worse than the day to day drunken sleep.

So, Positive thoughts lead to positive circumstances.

As for baby boy, well he's actually been sleeping better and through most nights until 4:30am or so. Just last night he woke around midnight and couldn't put himself back for no particular reason. We are a couple weeks away from the nine month old mark. I remember that being a real change in the sleep department with my first. Henry (I'll let his name fly here) is crawling around real good now and pulling himself up lots. Once they get real active like this they sleep more.

Anyways, I gotta fire up the grill again! Brb...

They wear themselves out exploring - they are so cute at that age.

The mandalas are gorgeous, ladies!

After surviving the respiratory issues last weekend, the tummy bug hit jr yesterday. Ugh. Poor kid. The washing machine and I have been working overtime to disinfect this place.

Rest up, heal up, and stay well everyone!!!
