I had a big smile on my face until I got to blended salad....ewwww.
But hey, green smoothies are all the rage.

Ick to the blended salad.

I'm thrilled that you're getting some feeling back. Woo Hoo!

I'm sure that neither of you are looking forward to splitting up. Even if it's something you both want and it's for the best, it will be such a big change in your lives.

All I need are some bacon bits, blue cheese crumbles, and some grape tomatoes. And a good dressing. I think it might work.

Chin is ok, Leigh. I'm a little sore, but that's because I've been walking around a bit. It's normal.

It still feels really strange being in public with a numb-ish face. It will all work itself out. Patience. That's all I need for now.

I sat in my car and watched him unload the kayak, and load everything up, and we chatted mostly about Lucy. It's pretty much the one thing that's "neutral" territory we can handle discussing. I got teary-eyed watching him. I don't know if it's fear, sadness, or what.

Driving home, I felt so utterly depressed. They're still at the river, trying to get out of the water and load back into his car.

SP, it's probably fear and sadness as well as other emotions too. Breaking up would be a loss for both of you, but if it's what you want and need, you will end up in a better place.

I wish it were an easier decision.

I guess if it were easy that might mean it wasn't worth it. There's a quote I read recently: "Anything worth doing is worth doing badly."

This marriage might help me get over perfectionism.

Sending you more love J.

I have never been married, and I can only imagine how difficult this is.

It wasn't that difficult, V. I think I can appreciate what I've experienced and learned.

I think at this point, it's just a matter of letting go.

I did have a restful night.

Lots of dreams about traveling, meeting people, getting along with strangers.

Woke up biting down on the right side a few times. I'm ok though. The soreness is gone. I'm guessing it will go away eventually.

It's probably time to schedule an appt with the ortho and let them finish my teeth. I'm ready to get these braces off.

Can't believe it but I am really chewing today! Granted, it's only beans, pasta, cheese, and tiny meatballs. But still...

Yay!

I won't be overdoing it though. He is going to ask me tomorrow at the check-up if I've chewed, I just know it. I know how he is. He will "challenge" me to chew. So, I got a little head start.

And I think that's come to an end... lol. I'm now irritated. Slight pain, but I guess that's to be expected. I will slow down now.

Yes, take it slow, Potamus - just a little at a time.
