Baxter will be calling and making sure he hides his stash of nuts you gave him, Wolfie.

I filled the feeder today. It's warm out, today was gorgeous.
Not up to much. A bit stir crazy. I hate this inaction, but I'm kid of stuck here for the moment. Was thinking of driving back to Vancouver and spending time there during this hiatus, but the gas would just be so expensive going there and back. It's something like a 12 hour drive. Still......seems a waste of time to just sit around here twiddling my thumbs, waiting for a job.

Yeah, I think it is fairly common. Just goes to show that we can't trust our brains not to trick us. I watched a TV program on memory a couple of days ago. Really enlightening. We really can't trust the accuracy of our memories -- which is kinda disturbing.

One of my two cats likes to jump up on the bed after I go to sleep at night. He'll sleep next to my legs and leave before I awake in the morning. He's so stealthy, I usually never even know he was there. My husband, who is a light sleeper, notices.

Thanks for that MesaMan, there are too many strange unexplained things to dismiss out of hand, I have had a few happen to me. I still think I'll most likely just end up worm food.

IP, so don't girl.... You're a writer....WRITE! Write anything about anything use the opportunity to expand your 'voice'

Mags in my foolish youth I thought myself in love with a married man, but he was just using me. I would never presume to judge, but I do wonder how much self respect a person can have waiting for some one to give them what little time they have left over after familial commitments elsewhere.

FBL sound like a better place for your mom .

Zip, I hope you survive the run of tests!!

FG good to see you! (Belatedly!)

Gracie, you too.

Wolfie, Kris and MB congratulations on our Soberversary

Hugs all x

Inpar, I second what toots said! Write girl, it's your gift!

Toots, I can relate to the married man scenario but I feel so sad and frustrated for her, it's her life, I know.

Frosty but lovely and sunny here. Just filled up the bird feeders and they've pounced on them. I'm paying for it the expensive way at the minute, I need to buy a 25 kgs bags, so much cheaper!

Hope it's a good day, overs. I'm just pottering around, can't go too fast or do too much, the old asthma is pulling my reins.

Good morning, Overs!

It is cold here but if it's as beautiful as yesterday, then I won't mind.

BRRRRRR!!!!! It's a cold one here this morning (1F / -17C). More snow forecast for tomorrow, but that's okay as we've kinda had a pass on winter so far this year.

Happy VD, to those so inclined (btw, that Valentine's Day)!

Not Venereal Disease, FBL? I'm not even sure if that's funny, sorry everyone.

Yes, thank you ladies, I know I should be writing and I AM! I started working on a short story.

Valentines Day? I completely forgot about it.

A low key V Day here, as well. Original ideas are tough to envision after ~39 Years together. So, my formerly-Scotch-addled Brain decided to make Tostadas for Breakfast. An A-R Kitchen Cleanup afterwards is all part of the deal. My Retired Brain thought V Day was tomorrow, anyway. Knowing what Day it is is over-rated...

We're Dog People, but here's one for Cat People...

I've started reading 'The little book of letting go '. Ok so far.

We're supposed to be getting snow but no sign of it here, it's snowing in town 3 miles away, though. Could do with a few days snowed in , home side though.

Haha, I just remembered last time we got snowed in about 4 years ago for a couple of days but a colleague picked me up in their big 4 X 4 vehicle (and I didn't mind as my booze was running low and I needed more!, I couldn't be snowed in without it in those days.) so I went to work so I could go to shop on way home! Lol

Greets Overs: Nothing much going on here, so just checking in. Nice day with sun and moderate temps so I got out and walked and ran some errands, even got the car washed. I remember now what color it is!

Ooooo, I should have asked you to grab some things for me Drake.

Beautiful day here. Very blessed with the moderate weather we are having as it is usually scorching hot at this time of year.

I have started a Professional Writing and Editing Course, and a volunteer job with Sacred Heart Mission. And tomorrow I am interviewing for temp jobs, so I'm getting busy. Living life again. It's still a bit overwhelming for me, but I think that's just me, and the way I am in the world.

My PC has been playing up and driving me insane, but I think I may have fixed it now thanks to some help from Dee.

But of course I need a new evaporative cooler, phone, coffee maker and I need to take my gorgeous fat cat to the vet. Life is expensive. Thank God I don't buy alcohol anymore.

How goes the job hunt InPar?

Love to all of the Overs. ♥
