Great news your niece coming to stay, Wolfie. Lunch was good, too, thanks. I bought fresh salmon also, having some for Monday dinner.
A bit down (again!) . It's gotta be the pills I'm taking, I'm not prone to mood swings, normally. My husband and I seem to wind each other up instead of pulling together! Still waiting for consultant appt.
Going to try to get some sleep it's 2.54 am.

And I don't feel the same way re "giving into alcohol".
Sure, the resulting behaviours were self-centred, but I really believe I acted that way for so long because I was living in the disease.

Hi Overs! Been keeping a low profile. Easter service rehearsals are beginning and I getting booked up. I am tired already and it is a month away. Yes Toots, my least favorite person is still around, thinking he is God's gift to music. 
Been battling some anxiety and sleeplessness (lot of double letters in that word!), but nothing like when I was drunk as well. See my shrink on 7th for regular appointment, probably a tweak or two in the meds. Got new eyeglasses and can see much better. Dr. used a new prism technology and suggested bigger lenses so can make bigger progressives. It worked. last appointment he said he had really done all that he could and future would just be minimal adjustments.
Weather has been quite unusual for February. No rain or snow and temps in the 70's (21-23C), not complaining at all. Off to check in on you all.

Was away for the weekend in Yorkshire. It's the 1940's there so broadband and cell reception only work in areas where time overlaps into the 21st century.

I went to take a nap at 4:00PM yesterday and didn't wake up until 8:30PM! I must've been behind on sleep, so I just went back to bed. Busy, busy, busy at work, but that's the way I like it. Guess you could call today a Manic Monday!

Mags, I hope you get that appointment soon! Are you by any chance on prednisone? That did horrible things to my moods and sleep and weight. And I totally agree with V about "giving in to alcohol" and that you are not selfish.
