Hello SoberLeigh. Been feeling quite tired lately. Today I ended up getting started on medicine for high blood pressure. An unexpected twist to getting sober. I guess all those years of drinking blood thinners on a daily basis stopped my body from worrying about how to thin itself. Why did I spend so much time and money poisoning myself? Another lesson to pass on to those smart enough to listen.

There are definitely unexpected twists along the way. My bet, SoberDave, that your overall health will greatly benefit from sobriety and recovery.

Fatigue is quite common in early sobriety. I was fatigued for quite a few weeks followed by a feeling of lethargy which stuck around for several months. It eventually and gradually went away and I felt better than I had in years!!!!!!!

Hang in; there is very good stuff ahead.

Hi everyone. I missed checking in yesterday as i got side tracked with things at work and my laptop is in getting fixed making it impossible to log on from home. The weekend is on us again WOOHOO! I hope everyone is well motivated to avoid the usual weekend traps where drinking is the old norm

Have a great weekend everyone and if i dont get computer access i will log in again on Monday

Today is the day I stay sober - no booze, no pot, no hard drugs, no mind-altering substances of any kind. This alcoholic is staying on the recovery train!!!
