9:23 in sunny California, west coast of USA. It's been a challenging day as I am in bed nursing a cold. I didn't drink though and I try to remember, that is enough. No matter what goes on in life it is a successful day if I don't drink. It can be much worse and it is only a fingertip away. I don't know how all this stuff works and the more I read and try to understand the farther I find myself from the answers I'm looking for. So I will just stand at the end of the pier and look out at the blue Pacific and be content in the cloud of unknowing. I will breathe, and breathe again.

But enough dreaming, another 24 hours sounds very good to me right now.

I love that we have cake a goat and each other lol

Its 6 weeks today for me! I am going on a bike ride with my children this morning along the seafront and really looking forward to it. Life is so much better without drinking. Another 24 for me...

9.12pm. I drank again last night but am finally sober tonight and sobered up some time this afternoon. Am in bed early hoping to sleep.
