24-hour Recovery Connections Part 105
Congratulations Dee and to all milestoners we are all doing great. To those struggling - it's such a relief to let go of alcohol, the struggle ends as far as alcohol goes. It's great. Clock me on for another 24 please 7:00 am AEST. Still not smoking - it helps to type it.

Whatever works, works! Just don't take on too much as you try to quit drinking. Be kind to yourself. That you gave up smoking is great also. Just take care of yourself and be gentle with yourself.
Thanks Kris. I am trying to follow your good advice and this time I am working on not feeling bad because I am not trying hard enough, etc, etc. Someone asked for me to do a favour for them today and it did mean travel. It was not anything really important and I was able to DECLINE. The person understood immediately which put paid to my anguishing over trifles that are essentially my entitlement. Slowly getting there.
Congrats to all the milestoners with special thanks to the superstar Dee ! All milestones are great though and we should all be grateful we have this moment of sobriety. What gifts it has brought us. Move one forward !
