Briar, hope that your little one feels better soon.

Mark, I've been battling with some viny plant, also; it's in the garden and likes to wrap itself around everything - bushes, flowering plants, trees.

Have a good night/day, all.

See you tomorrow.

Sounds like a nice hands on hard days work, Mark. A man can feel real good after a day like that. Hope you enjoyed it.

Night all.

Making my first batch of chia seed pudding. I'm stoked. My husband is horrified. I admit, it looks pretty gross.

Haha....yep. Something primal about it I guess. Leather gloves, work boots, saws, fire, a little blood and a lot of sweat! My new shoulder exercise will be the pole saw! Brutal after a while...but I like it!

Chia seed pudding? I hate to think what happened to your chia pet!

OK, time to get busy with my real job.....

Nice, gray, gelatinous pudding!! Yum! I've tried it too, lol. I do think there are good chocolate recipes out there, with coconut milk, chia, cocoa.

I'm trying a recipe with almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. I saw some chocolate recipes and will definitely hit that next if this turns out well.

Haha Mark!

Well, it turned out...interesting, haha! The seeds clumped at the top and bottom. I threw it in the food processor, and now it seems to be setting up fine. I made a smoothie with some of it, and it's good. It's definitely thickening up. I'll need a spoon pretty soon . The seeds don't really seem to have a flavor. They're like strawberry seeds. I went ahead and mixed up a batch of the chocolate kind because I wanted to use up the rest of the seeds. I've had them languishing in the fridge for too long. I usually just put them in muffins. This is a fun experiment!

Ok, the blended one is finally achieving pudding consistency. Or, to be more specific, mucous with crunchy things in it. Yum! Haha!
