I'm in our bedroom with my 2 babies(cats) asleep next to me. Raining lightly, big yawn, and it's not even 5:00pm!!
I had a nice meeting at Las Encinas. Well, actually all my meetings have at least moments of clarity, A-HA!, Yep ...that was or Is me! Bill W. Was right on about just one alcoholic helping another. Happens all the time for me.
I'll be checking in for the next 24 hours of my recovery. Thanks to my HP, AA, & SR!

Mish. Sane and sober. I think I really got it this time. It's a miracle. Never thought it would happen.

In for another 24...well I just finished a 28 day run at work now I have a week off with nothing to do. I catch myself thinking about having some drinks, but I know if I do it could lead to a 2 day bender. I'll be more on here for the next week hoping to calm my urges

Wow. Tonight marks my 4th straight sober night. Thought I was in the throws of some major withdrawal yesterday. Turns out I was just coming down with the flu. lol. My son went to the doctor today with a 105 fever and got diagnosed with influenza. I decided to go as well and have the same thing. It's a funny thing to feel hung over 4 days after I quit drinking. I suppose I had it coming though. Just another test to pass! 24 more please!

^^^ Gosh we are hard on ourselves! (re: I suppose I had it coming).
I bet the flu and withdrawal at the same time is not a whole lot of fun, and I'm SO glad you are getting through it Dave.
Hope your little one gets better quickly.
