My sleep schedule is finally back to normal. I am so glad! The trick was to stay up until 3 p.m. and sleep in four hour cycles. It worked.

Problem is, I feel so utterly depressed and unmotivated. I can't bear the thought of pulling myself from the bed and into the shower.

The rapid healing with hopefully lift your spirits soon. Are you working today, or can you hide in a good book?

Hi, GHD. I'm working today for a few hours.

My anxiety is bad in the mornings and I hate taking morning showers. I usually try to do it at night. I don't know why that is but I've been this way my whole life. I've tried to get over it but can't seem to shift it.

Today I have to shower and wash my hair, wait for it to dry, and then run an errand before work. I'll probably work five hours.

I'm out of bed. I drank some water, some Ensure, and took my supplements. I'm standing by my space heater zoning out, lol.

Trying to get closer to the shower.

I will in a few...

Having to talk myself into it.

I came home after an hour at work. It feels like I have a fever. I took my temp. No fever. I don't get it. I feel bad. I am wondering if this is normal.

I am really sore on the sides of my jaw and all underneath. Swollen lymph nodes.

It might be that numbness is wearing off and I can feel more. I really don't know what is going on.

I think I'd call just to be sure. You might have just been over doing it a little, but it's best to be safe?

I took ibuprofen and fell asleep! I just woke up.

I'm still sore on the right side. I will have to call them in the morning.

Jennie, I hope you can get some answers from your dr tomorrow. It could be that the numbness easing up is the cause of the pain, but who knows? I really hope that the healing will speed up for you. It's been a long six weeks!

I really hope I'm not infected. How will he know? Won't they just give me more antibiotics? I hope they won't have to go in and remove the plates. That will terrify me at this point.

It's hard to be in this position, and feeling like I can't even bother to feed myself because I feel like I have a fever. My husband doesn't understand. He is asking why I need the doctor. I just want to lie down and sleep. But I have to force myself to get water, food, pay bills, and go see the doctor.

I've never felt so alone.

Jen, we are there with you. Sorry it can't be more than in spirit.

I'd enjoy knocking on the door and telling him: "She sent out an SOS and I'm answering."

I'm glad you're in touch with your healing. It does worry me that you might have some infection. Nip it in the bud. Don't hesitate.

We love you Jen.

Try not to worry about the plates etc right now love.
The doctor will help you.

I understand the worry and the whatif spiral - but the what ifs if you don't go to the Dr would worry me more J?

see how you feel in the morning I guess?

Thank you. Thanks for caring. It helps.

I plan to call in the morning.

There's soreness and swelling on my right side. It is sore even on my neck.

Just on how will the doctor know - about a year back I had a bad tooth - great pain - but I couldn't see any swelling, no pus...

the doctor took one look and said that tooth is infected.

Drs know stuff.
