24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 100
I read this today and I think I will share with you my friends ..... When you help others along the road you may never know the outcome of their journey. But it may not have been your purpose to know. Your purpose may have been to simply meet them on the path and in some way be a source of light so they can see things from a clearer perspective—and in so doing discovering that they may have been a source of light for you
I know the feeling all too well. But now I am free. I have gone through the acceptance of this thing and have made my commitment to sobriety. I know that once you do, Neo you will feel the same. Stay with us as this is your best chance at getting there. One. Day. At. A. Time.
Peace brother.
Peace brother.
NeoNew---I struggled and I'm still having a hard time. but, AA has really helped me this time and I'm going to keep going. I have slipped more times than I want to admit---I was sober for 3 years and then stopped going to AA and for sure I got into trouble with the bottle. Please just give it a try. I know it's not for everyone--it sure has helped me along with this great group .

Neo,
That is what alcohol can do to you when it no longer works the way you want it to. You know it is not what you truly want. Now is a good time, the best time, to call it quits. Alcohol did not one of us, any favors. We can all attest to that friend. I kept looking for relief. no longer worked for me either. You can do this. It is hard to do alone. Why not try AA? Keep coming here as well. We need all the tools we can use to get right with ourselves. There is a better life out there for you but you have to work it. We are here to help as much as we can Neo. Every single one of us is worth it. Believe in yourself.

Kris made a great suggestion about AA.
There are some SR links about formulating a plan.
I'll post them in a minute.
