Mixed feelings about the bands. I love that they stabilize my bite. It feels safe and secure. But that's the only upside. It's, of course, creating a hygiene issue in my mouth, but amazingly, rinsing has worked well. Also, the antibiotics play a major part, I'd think.

Watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood over the past few days has calmed me greatly. Sounds silly, I know. It's a kid show. He makes me believe all is well for a little while anyway.

Mr. Rogers definitely has a calming effect.. I can remember my little siblings falling asleep sucking their thumbs when he was on TV in the afternoon.

Developed nausea tonight after taking the antibiotics. Feel awful. Slightly concerned about vomiting. I think I'm going to take a spoonful of yogurt and water it down, and drink.

I hope you can get the yoghurt down....can you sip water, slowly?
Sometimes that helps ease the nausea a little.

Maybe it's in my head, but I ate yogurt off a spoon slowly, and it seems to have helped almost instantly.

That's great re the yoghurt!

And I know...antibiotics can cause tummy problems.
But at least they are doing their job, and that's paramount.

Thank you love ~ you're probably lucky I don't live closer though; carers are pretty hard to stop. I would have been on your doorstep.

Ugh. It's back. My stomach is gurgling and seems very upset.

I don't feel like I'm close to vomiting. That's good.

I'll mention this tomorrow at my doc appt.

Yes, indeed, he may be able to prescribe anti-nausea meds.

They placed a anti-nausea patch behind my right ear just before surgery (or maybe it was after; memory is hazy now). It lasted 72 hours. I might ask for that again.

I hope the nausea has passed. I noticed it kept you up very late last night. Good luck at the doctor's office today.
