Feeling 95% better than when I woke up. I slept two hours after I took those meds. Felt like deep, restorative sleep.

Thanks, Odelle Tom, the ex, is calling my surgeon today when he is out of surgery, to see about more hydrocodone. I have a 1 p.m. appt tomorrow as well. Not looking forward to that ordeal of getting dressed and going there.

Took a shower, washed and combed out the knots in my hair. Since I'm feeling ok today, thought I better go ahead and get the hair struggle out of the way before tomorrow. I even hung up some clothes in the closet, sorted laundry, etc. it would be wonderful if the pain doesn't return after such a pain-free day, but I'm guessing it will rear its ugly head at some point, and so I plan to get out of bed and move around when it happens.

That's great to hear, SP, and I hope the 'feeling good' trend continues.

Hey, SP.

Mornings are always the worst because all the processes slow down. Don't be discouraged by this.

But you've made more steps to getting back to your normal routine, and that is what matters.

Hope that your tomorrow appointment will prove good recovery and emotional turmoil will be put on hold so you can get so much needed break from all this stress storm.

Positive vibes and hugs.

Drank Butternut squash soup again. Feeling pretty good. Feeling some twinges of jaw pain returning. Not going to panic. Tom is on the way to pick up my refill. Brian is here and somehow enjoys preparing the warm, damp facial cloths I put around my lower face. He seems to have mastered that, and so he has confidence. Lots of the turmoil seems to have been because of his lack of confidence in doing some of these things. Where as Tom is adaptable and quick, Brian struggles with analysis paralysis which makes him seem slow. It still doesn't justify his hateful words and outright neglect.

I am trying to keep peace with him today, and for the most part, things have gone well.

I am glad the pain is receding Jen, it is hard to think straight when you are in pain

Tom is here with the hydrocodone. He's just in time. Jaw began hurting an hour ago and has worsened. It's not too bad yet. This dose will knock it right out. I think this was the longest stretch so far with no pain.

I'm about to drink a tropical protein smoothie drink. He found it's best not to blend fat with the ingredients because it froths it, and I can't drink that froth. It has to be a thin to medium thick liquid in order for it to go down without choking me.

Brian is running a table saw just outside our bedroom window -- just a few feet from my head. Terrible timing. Total thoughtlessness. He is some kind of weirdo.

It's the last thing you want to do -- I know, been there -- but it helps. Sounds like you are much, much better today. And have a good variety of liquid foods to eat. Drinking nothing but Ensure would have gotten old fast.

I hope you get the bands out tomorrow. That would be a huge quality of life improvement.
