I have a spare car key and house key in my handbag. So if I lock myself out, I'm OK, but if someone steals my bag, I lose everything, so not really very smart of me. I need to rethink that.

Laugh away, Venus, I deserve it! I keep my car keys on a separate chain to my house and work keys, and keep a spare office key in my car. My office locks itself, so if the door ever shuts behind me I'll always have a way to a key. I plan to do that with house key, but hadn't gotten there yet! lol
Dee, I shake my head around here when folks say things along the lines of "slavery was hundreds of years ago, get over it." Slavery only ended a hundred years ago and change, and Jim Crow laws persisted until the 60's, and there's a lot of unwritten bull to this day. Ok I'll get off my soapbox now.

I managed to lock myself out of the new house today, oh the joy! Had to drive 30 minutes each way to old house to get a spare key. Couldn't call first, because my phone was in the house. Along with my wallet, and of course my dinner. Of course I was in my pajamas, because that's just perfect. Lol
Well at least I had my car keys!! I'm sure I looked fetching, thank goodness I didn't get pulled over.
Very tired wehav headed to bed.

Well, back to the keys thing...just took out the trash at the old place and dropped my keys off. Doesn't get any more final than that!
