Wow; that was the first sober New Years (and two days, so far) in 35 years! I'm asking for another 24 hours. I feel strong, and this helps. My first post. I'm seeing my Dr. Tomorrow, and telling her the truth (grimace)...been drinking everyday for decades.

Hi,
Its been so nice having my husband home more these last 2 weeks because of the holidays. But, back to the M-F work hours tomorrow. He got the porch and outside areas ready for El Niņo rain/storms that are predicted for this week. I love rainy weather, but people in California always get weird in the driving mode on that first day of rain. Maybe it's everywhere, but I've lived here all my life so ...
I'll be checking in for the next 24 hours of my recovery, thanks HP, AA/CA & SR. My Sunday Meeting at Las Encinas is a C.A. Meeting, hence the thank you!

Check me in for 24 more. Had a better day today and I'm grateful I no longer find drinking or drugging to be necessary means of solving my unmanageability. It's good to be sober!!!
