Wehav here in sunny San Diego. I've completely lost track of my checkin time. Think if I check in now I'll get the before 5:00 time, then might check in late tonight for the next round. I think that will catch me up. I'm so confused, but soberly confused.

I've been enjouying these 24 hours! Sober New Years was a blast. We don't go out into the crazy. But today we will. Old town will be a blast. Even better without the margaritas!

All pumped from gym time and check in to see that strat posted a record number of folks joining together for the 24 hour commitment! I'm really inspired by that and if we stay the course 2016 can be pivotal to a better quality of life for each one on the list. Gotta love that!

Hang in; you'll feel better and better the longer you stay sober. Sobriety It will get easier and easier, NeoNew. Hang in.

Drink plenty of water; eat small meals; get some fresh air; try to take a short walk.

I hate to boast, and I don't intend to rub it in, but being retired is absolutely great, no dreaded Monday's. But I find myself here after a lifetime of showing up for work. Sorry for the gloating, I do empathize. I'll be thinking of you.

At first I did well to be able to 'lift' a sober day. With time though holidays, social situations, the end of a stressful workday, etc. have all gotten easier to lift as I've continued to work through each one. These tough days you're experiencing are not fun, no doubt about that! But in retrospect I see that those were the days that provided the opportunity for growth. There's no shortcut, but you can do this!

Neo, for now you just have to go in faith that it won't always feel this way. We're pulling for you every step of the way!

In for 24 and time for the gym to work on other muscle!
Fantastic post, Mark; thanks.
