Class of October 2014 Part 24
Same here Briar with the outdoor lights. Thought about tackling that today. I get not taking them down right away with the cold and snow, but some people around here keep them on till Valentine's Day. Ridiculous.
Everything is down, just crammed in the front foyer. I got up super early and snuck over to the apartment for a few hours to sort and clean a bit before the guys get up. Today will be full of family, food, and football. My favorite things! However, I'm lightening up the menu by taking a fruit and veggie tray and deviled eggs. It's past due time to clean up the diet.
Can't wait to hear the details, Mark! That's really exciting!
And what a score, BD! Fur-lined!!
Big hugs all around

You're damn right, Mark!
My husband is making HIS chili tonight. There is a small chili rivalry in our house. Has been ever since I stepped into the chili ring a few years ago which he had previously dominated. Just so we are all clear, mine is better.

Oooooooo WOW....I love the raggedy tops. Lovely....I haven't seen this type of high-top.
Are they the stretchy ones??
Well, I got another pair. He he he. These ones...
Fulfilling my dream...I have wanted pink all stars forever, and they were very cheap.

If I can ever manage to orchestrate a class of October 2014 get together, there will be plenty of cooking involved. A chili cook off wouldn't be a bad idea.
Winds have shifted to a nice stiff north wind. I like it. Wife and youngest out shopping and I've been asked to make soup. I really like the aroma and sound of sautéed onions, garlic etc..
I like that you treated yourself to the shoes V. Sometimes you just gotta.

Seems to be a common theme with you ladies.
Well I will be a visitor to the Southern Hemisphere in November. New Zealand here I come! Researching flights has kept me up way past my bedtime. I checked into a stop over in Melbourne but it made the travel time over 30 hours instead of 18. Air NZ just added a nonstop from Houston to Auckland and I've been waiting until I could snag one of those.
